Why did Stormy Daniels’ husband file for a restraining order?

On Behalf of | Jul 27, 2018 | Divorce

Even celebrities have to face the trials and tribulations of divorce, and they aren’t always dealing with a clean split either. The news is currently following the divorce of Stormy Daniels from her husband Glendon Crain, who appears to have more than a few issues with his spouse.

TMZ has recently reported that Crain has filed a restraining order against Daniels. According to reports, Daniels had wanted to take her seven year old daughter on a tour with her. Crain worried that being on the bus with these adults during the tour would expose her to the potential of both emotional and physical harm.

He has also claimed that Daniels has “committed adultery”, though he did not specify any further. Supposedly this is what sparked his desire to get a divorce, though it’s also been shown that there might have been tension within the marriage for a while leading up to this moment. Reports of seeing the couple together in public dropped in frequency in the months leading up to the announcement.

According to reports, the request for this restraining order was granted by a judge. Crain was given the two cars and home. Currently, the restraining order is a temporary one. However, he is working toward making it permanent.

In terms of finances, the restraining order also disallows Daniels from transferring or withdrawing assets from their accounts, cutting off Crain’s access to his credit cards, and falsifying documents. However, there is no evidence that any of these actions have been attempted.
