One interesting thing that happened is that, though couples typically only divide assets earned before they split up, McGregor is actually going to give $1.5 million to his ex, which is half of his cut for Christopher Robin. He filmed that movie in 2018, after splitting up in 2017. It is unclear exactly why his income from that movie is included in the division, but that’s what it looks like at this time.
