The state of Texas has the good fortune of being the new jurisdiction for Jesse James’ child custody case. The reality television star has relocated to the Lone Star State with his 7-year-old daughter and any future child custody proceedings involving Jesse James’ daughter will be heard in Texas. James had been living in Orange County, California.
For over one year Jesse James has been fighting to move his child custody case from Orange County, California to Hays County, Texas. James and his 7-year-old daughter moved from Orange County to Austin, Texas about one year ago along with James’ two other children. James also has one son and one daughter from his first wife.
An Orange County Superior Court judge ended James’ fight to move his case by surrendering jurisdiction of the child custody case. James’ had been in a child custody dispute with his former wife Janine Lindemulder. The pair have a 7-year-old daughter together. Previously, James lived in Sunset Beach located in Orange County and Lindemulder lived in Costa Mesa.
After James’ marriage to Sandra Bullock failed because of his infidelity, James moved away from California to Austin in order to escape scrutiny from the media. Lindemulder now lives in Oregon, and James has primary custody of their daughter.
Lindemulder is an adult movie actress and recently entered and left rehab. Lindemulder has been granted one week of visitation every month and James agreed to pay for travel and accommodations. The judge’s ruling yesterday closed the child custody case between James and Lindemulder.
